Approximate weight of a single ComFlor 80 sheet at 3 metres length and 600mm cover width (panel area = 1.80 m²). Despite being 20mm deeper than ComFlor 60, the profile weight per m² is comparable, and handling characteristics on site are essentially the same.

Fire Performance

Fire design is in accordance with SCI NCCI PN005 (Eurocode) and SCI Publication P359. Two fire design methods are available within the ComFlor 9 design software: the Mesh and Deck Fire Method (mesh reinforcement only) and the Bar Fire Method (reinforcement bars in each deck trough, positioned 25mm above the trough base). The method required depends on the span, slab depth, fire period, and applied load for your specific project.

The minimum slab depths in the table below are indicative for the Mesh and Deck Fire Method with normal weight concrete. At longer spans or higher fire periods, trough bar reinforcement will typically be required and minimum slab depths increase accordingly. The 140mm NWC minimum is a hard floor for this profile.   • Colorcoat FD pre-finished soffit — factory-applied pre-finished colour coating to the soffit, giving a bright, attractive finish where no suspended ceiling is specified. Available in a range of colours. Ideal for Grade A commercial office and industrial fit-out where the deck soffit will be visible.
