Tata RoofDek range, some of the shallower profiles are suitable for factory crimping and self-curving, making them ideal for architectural and aesthetic applications where curved roofs are required.
Factory Crimped Curving (Tighter Radii):
D35 – Can be factory crimped down to a 400mm radius.
D46 – Also suitable for factory crimping, offering stronger structural support in curved applications.

Self-Curving (Large Radii on Site):
D32S, D35, D46, and D60 can be self-curved on-site to achieve radii between 40m and 85m, depending on the profile depth and finish.
What’s the Difference Between Factory Crimping & Self-Curving?
| Method | Advantages | Limitations | Suitable Profiles |
| Factory Crimping | Allows for tight bends (down to 400mm radius), ideal for architectural features and domed structures. | Requires pre-manufacturing and transportation as curved sheets. | D35, D46 |
| Self-Curving | Can be curved on-site to fit structures with large radii (40m to 85m). | Limited to gentler curves – not suitable for sharp bends. | D32S, D35, D46, D60 |
Why Choose Curved Roof Decking?
✔ Aesthetically appealing – Ideal for modern architectural designs.
✔ Structural benefits – Can help reduce secondary steelwork.
✔ Weather resistance – Works well with standing seam and single-ply membrane systems.
